For nearly two decades we have continually upgraded our batch testing competencies, ensuring our reputation for consistent quality and balance in our formulas.

Our new Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS) is a tool that helps determine the presence and concentration of elements in a sample. The ICP-MS combines the capabilities of a chromatography and spectrometry. The instrument is used extensively in detecting low levels of elements in plant, water, food and soil samples. The ICP-MS as an analytical tool, that has high sensitivity and precision in detecting heavy metals, wear metals, and their corresponding concentrations within samples. The ICP-MS produces a flame with intense heat, approximately 9500° Fahrenheit, close to the surface temperature of the Sun. This plasma flame converts atoms of elements into ions. These ions from a sample are separated and detected by the mass spectrometer. With current regulations on pesticides residue and heavy metal contamination in our food supply, the ICP-MS provides valuable and on-time results to improve Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA).

In addition to specificity, sensitivity and precision, the ICP-MS has the ability to test for multiple elements in a single test run. This reduces the wait time from as long as two days to minutes. We believe that this state-of-the-art capability provides absolute assurance that each batch of our premium organic and hydroponics nutrients are perfectly blended for prolific plant growth.
